I may have found password software that does
what I want:
Roboform. It's a toolbar for IE
and Mozilla/Firefox that, among other things, stores passwords in a
3DES store and lets you back them up to HTML. It seems to work well,
with intense AI for figuring out what forms to fill. $30.
But boy is the usability inhumane. You can get a flavour for the
design æsthetic by looking at the website, or revel in the
screenshots of 15
different screens. Design is a good idea, but Roboform used up all
its good ideas on features.
